Bray
Pit Nature Reserve |
Bray Pit is a small flooded gravel pit surrounded by a strip of woodland, a mature hedge and a wide grassy bank. Hoards of dragonflies and damselflies use the lake, and bats hunt over the open water at dusk and dawn. Aquatic and woodland birds thrive here.
